PR & Charity Work

First of all, I need to state – I am not sponsored nor have I done any sponsored blog posts – if I do, I will let you know and will be honest. I am, however PR friendly and am more than willing to work with companies and/or do charity work. If you are interested in working with me, please complete the contact form on my “About Me & Contact” page.

Not Dead Yet & The Freedom Fighters

In 2013, Nate & Josh Bagby co-founded Chivalry Contego, a clothing and apparel company. Whilst working on a design for Day of the Dead, Nate came up with the idea of using the slogan Not Dead Yet. The idea was to show that chivalry, honour, loyalty and valor (the very ideals held by the company) were not dead yet as well as upholding the traditions and ideals of the Day of the Dead.

This “Sugar Skull” design and the “NDY Lion” became their two most popular designs. As a result, Nate and Josh decided to rebrand the company and become Not Dead Yet Apparel. The official rebranding was on October 1st, 2015.

Upon rebranding, they launched the Freedom Fighter initiative. The idea behind this is to try and stop Human Trafficking. I got involved in this from day one, promoting and doing my utmost to spread the word. I like to think that I was a part of the movement, however small.

I have since become a brand ambassador for Not Dead Yet, which I genuinely love. The guys are awesome and their message is not only inspiring, but something I truly believe in. Please head over and check them out at NDYApparel.com. If you like what you see, don’t forget to use my discount code “PJGREATWHITE” for a 10% discount!

Movember 2015

The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising £402 million and funding over 1,000 projects focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity (this passage was taken from their website).

In November 2015, I decided to partake in Movember. I was already working out on a daily basis, so I went with the growing of a moustache route. I raised a small amount of money, for the charity, surpassing my goal and generally looking like a fool due to my complete inability to grow a decent moustache in a month!.
