Hi Guys and Girls,
The last few days have been interesting. I’ve been signed off work due to illnesses and my kids still are ill too. It’s like quarantine here!
When I first started doing writing and ultimately interviews for FeelTheTip Sports, I drew up a list in my head of fighters that I really wanted to get. There was no discernable order, just a list. This week, I finally got one of them.
Tonya “Triple Threat” Evinger is the current Invicta Bantamweight Champion. The reason I wanted her was because she is honest and she makes no apologies for who she is, not too mention that she seems like a genuine person. The interview I did with her, is in my opinion, the best interview I have done to date. Tonya didn’t disappoint with her honesty.
She fights in May against Colleen Schneider, please support her by giving her a follow on her Twitter page (which she does interact with her fans and / or negative people) and of course by watching the fight in May. The fight will be on UFC Fight Pass under the Invicta events section.
If you haven’t watched Invicta FC yet, please do, if you are a fan of MMA it is highly recommended. I find the majority of Invicta fights are generally of a higher quality than UFC fights. Julie Kedzie and TJ on commentary and Laura Sanko on interview duties are knowledgeable. The fighters themselves are hugely talented and bring it each and every time. Please check them out.
As there aren’t any UFC or Invicta fights this weekend, let’s move swiftly on. Just after Christmas, the wife and I started playing Fallout 4. We have still been heavily playing it, when the kids are asleep (ha! What’s sleep? My kids seem to hate the word). On March 22nd, Bethesda finally released the first DLC (downloadable content).
Automatron in one of several due out in the coming months. As Jen and I were still enjoying the game, we took the plunge and bought it. So far, we have encountered countless weird and customised Robots. If you have been playing the game or are going to return to it, beware these Robots hit hard and fast. My T60 version F Power Armour has been annihilated on many occasions. I’ve also encountered a Tesla Gun which when you mod it reaches 130+ damage, far exceeding my other guns.
The best and yet paradoxically worst part of this DLC is the ability to create and mod your own Robots. I currently have a pink sentry bot head, with a protectron body and a Mr Handy thruster lower (for those of you who don’t know, this is a jet pack instead of legs) just patrolling the Starlight Drive In. The problem with the crafting is, like the weapons and armour crafting system, it’s clunky. Overall though, I highly recommend this DLC, despite the flaws, which aren’t as bad as you might think, it is highly enjoyable.
I’ve started my effort to get back to fitness again. I’ve even started food preparation again. I made breakfast for the next 3 days, overnight oats. This is Low fat natural yoghurt, berries, chia seeds, cacao powder, honey and of course oats. Highly nutritious and a staple of my diet during my fitness phase. Back to the grind guys! Onwards and upwards.
Carpe Diem Guys
